CBR Ed Payne “Bulls on the Border” Bull Bash 2016

When cowboys and cowgirls in Texas want to see the best in championship bull riding, there’s no doubt they all have Saturday, October 15 marked on their calendars. When that day rolls around, everyone will be heading to the Mercedes Rodeo Arena in Mercedes, TX at 8 p.m. to see the CBR Ed Payne Bulls on the Border Bull Bash. With many of the world’s best pro bull riders in attendance, it promises to be an event that all who attend will remember for a very long time.

When it comes to the CBR Bulls on the Border Bull Bash, it goes without saying that there will be extensive media coverage provided by Fox Sports. As with many of these events, the Cowboy Lifestyle Network will be giving fans the in-depth coverage it has become known for over the years. For fans who like to keep track of the 2016 CBR World Standings, these media outlets will provide the most up-to-date statistics. While currently Sage Steele Kimzey leads with 709.50 points, several other riders are lurking near the top. Eli Vastbinder is second with 446.50 points, while Taryl Smith is third with 355 points and Boudreaux Campbell is next at 354.50 points.

Entertainment Options

While there will be plenty of excitement when the competitors climb onto the bulls and put their skills to the test, there will also be plenty of other entertainment options before and after the action. On Friday, October 14 there will be an official pre-party event from 5-7 p.m., letting fans get an early start on the excitement that will take place on Saturday. In addition to the pre-party, fans can come early and stay late to hear great music, with the Marshall Law Band and Sweetwater Rain giving fans some great tunes.

Ticket Information

For fans of championship bull riding, the good news is that ticket prices are very reasonable. Reserved seats are $30 pre-sale and $35 at the door, while general admission seats are $20 pre-sale and $25 at the door. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Aaron joined CLN in its nascent stages, contributing to its growth and development over the past decade. As COO, Aaron manages operations, using AI to streamline processes and analyze data, ensuring CLN remains a leading voice. With expertise in business development, he innovates and cultivates client relationships, supporting CLN’s exponential growth. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Aaron values his faith, family, and friends, which are the cornerstones of his life. This personal foundation, combined with his professional expertise, makes him a trusted and authoritative voice in the western lifestyle community. Aaron’s commitment to philanthropy is the bedrock of his personal ethos. He actively supports local Arizona organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, Chandler Compadres, Horses Help, Harris Brothers Charity Foundation, and the American Heart Association (among others), reflecting his dedication to giving back and strengthening the community he calls home.
