High School Bull Riding

You have to tip your cowboy hats to these high school bull riders because they endure some really intense bull riding action that no ordinary cowboy would be able to withstand.  If you look closely, these cowboys become inches away from the bulls and some of them actually come in contact with them! Learn more about the AHSRA and all the upcoming events by visiting their website

Also take note, that only some of these high school bull riders are wearing helmets with faceguards, the rest of them are risky enough to take the bull on while only wearing their cowboy hats.

Throughout bull riding history, only cowboy hats were worn, but with ever-increasing head injuries appearing more and more, helmets have been more common to the bull riding sport in rodeos everywhere. Cowboy hat or helmet, the bottom line is the most favorite out of all the rodeo sports, due to the fact that this event is well-known for being the most life-threatening eight seconds in all of sports.
