Events Around Town

Junior World Finals

The Junior World Finals, presented by YETI, will be held in the Las Vegas Convention Center Dec. 5th-14th. Over 700 young contestants are competing in the same rodeo events that their professional counterparts are. The competition will heat up this year as there will be an all-around prize of a new trailer by RodeoRigs.com. You can go see the champions of tomorrow by going to www.nfrexperience.com/juniorworldfinals/ for the qualifier, schedule, and producer information.

World Series Team Roping

The World Series of Team Roping, presented by Ariat, produces the largest team roping event in the world. WNFR After Party

The party doesn’t stop after the rodeo ends. The MGM Grand Gold Buckle Zone offers free live music and viewing parties every night. The Buckin’ Bash hosted by Justin Rumford also hosts a free party over at The Orleans starting at 9 p.m. But something you need to see at least once is a WNFR buckle presentation. Every night you can go see the champions get their winning round buckles and then stay for the free concert at South Point Hotel.

A huge congrats goes out to Clayton Biglow for his third round win here at the NFR. Congrats to Resistol for this round win!

With this being Stetson’s first round, he is sitting at number five in the standings with about a 30K difference between him and Ty Erickson.

This is Cody and Wesley’s first round win so far at the NFR which puts Cody in the number 4 spot and Wesley in the number 7 spot in the World standings.

Tie-Down Roping: Tyler Milligan

This will be Tyler’s first round win in a row, putting him in the number seven spot in the world standings. Proud sponsors are Resistol and Class Equine.

With a score of 92.5 on Northcutt Macza’s horse, Get Smart. Zeke is currently sitting number one in the World Standings, my bet is Zeke takes the win for the whole deal this year!
