Tropicana Las Vegas: Your Wrangler NFR Home-Base

Saddle up rodeo fans because it’s almost “the most wonderful time of the year!” This December 4th-15th is NFR time! As we head toward rodeo week, cowboys and cowgirls from across the world are gearing up for next-level rodeo performances and a week-long celebration in sparkling Las Vegas, Nevada.

Since 1959 the prestigious Wrangler National Finals Rodeo has brought ProRodeo to the world’s stage. With the-best-of-the-best rodeo athletes and livestock alike, the 2019 NFR is sure to leave rodeo fans on the edge of their seats. While the dirt will be flying in the Thomas & Mack Center, a whole slew of rodeo entertainment will be taking place along the Vegas Strip. Some of the greatest entertainment can be found at the NFR Home-Base, The Tropicana Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

The Tropicana Las Vegas Resort & Casino is proud to host another year of top-notch NFR Entertainment and those of us here at Cowboy Lifestyle Network are excited to jump in headfirst and share with you the must-do’s during rodeo week at The Tropicana.

While attendees are sure to experience rodeo excitement in the arena, another competition has been making an impact among the rodeo world since 1955, offering rodeo fans another exciting annual experience… The 2020 Miss Rodeo America Pageant. State rodeo queens will travel to Las Vegas where they will compete in various areas such as personality, horsemanship, and appearance.

The winning state queen will be crowned December 8th. The Tropicana Las Vegas Resort & Casino is proud to once again host the Miss Rodeo America Pageant December 1st-8th. With portions of the competition taking place across the hotel, spectators are welcomed and encouraged to come and support their favorite state queens as they embark on the experience of a lifetime, competing for the coveted title of Miss Rodeo America. Perhaps one of the most thrilling events The Tropicana has to offer is the 2019 Bullfighters Only Las Vegas Championship. Returning to The Tropicana December 5th-14th, this event is one you will not want to miss. Held daily at 2 pm, come see the most daring athletes take on the biggest, quickest bulls BFO has to offer.

Audience members are kept on the edge of their seats as these athletes, jump, dodge, and dance around up to 1,500 pounds of charging bull! Come see Reigning BFO World Champion, Weston Rutkowski as he defends his title. Don’t miss out on Early-Bird BFO x Tropicana ticket specials which will expire on October 30th, 2019! The entertainment doesn’t end in the Bullfighters Only arena! In conjunction with the Tropicana Las Vegas Resort and Casino, Western streetwear brand, Hooey, is proud to present the Hooey Jam. Open to rodeo fans, this free-entry event will occur every day during the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

After each Bullfighters Only performance, join the bullfighters from 4 pm-6 pm at the Hooey Jam at Robert Irvine’s Public House inside the Tropicana Las Vegas.
