Embracing Community

The Redding Rodeo is more than just bulls, broncs, and barrels, it’s about resilience, determination, and the unwavering cowboy spirit. While cowboy strength is exemplified with every 8 second ride and quick turn of a barrel, the Redding Rodeo Association believes no one exemplifies the indomitable cowboy spirit more than the courageous men and women who face one of life’s toughest rides, a cancer diagnosis.

Thank you to Pendleton Whisky & Blach Beverage

The Redding Rodeo Association is honored to partner with sponsors Pendleton Whisky and Blach Beverage to present Friday evening’s special rodeo performance, “Buckin’ Cancer Night.” This meaningful performance honors all who face adversity with true cowboy spirit.

Buckin’ Cancer Night.

Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center

This cause is deeply rooted in the heart of the Redding Rodeo and reflected in the construction of the 40,000-square-foot Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center in Redding, California. Designed to support Northern California’s leading oncologists, this state-of-the-art facility will enhance patient care, improve treatment outcomes, and create an environment where medical professionals can continue delivering the exceptional care that Mercy Medical Center Mt. Shasta and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital have upheld for more than 70 years. Its development marks a significant step forward in providing world-class cancer treatment to the community.

Meaningful Impact

The Redding Rodeo’s “Buckin’ Cancer Night” isn’t just about thrilling rodeo action; it’s about making a meaningful impact. This special performance will help raise funds to support the construction of the Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center. Additionally, the Redding Rodeo Association has pledged $50,000 to the center over a five-year period, reinforcing its commitment to those facing life’s toughest battles, reminding us all that the powerful cowboy spirit extends far beyond the arena.
