Douglas County Fair and Rodeo 2018

The PRCA has recently announced that the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo is returning yet again in 2018. The event will be held at the Medved Autoplex!


The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association has recently announced that the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo is returning yet again in 2018. The event will be held at the Medved Autoplex, like every year. The fair and rodeo is scheduled to take place from the 2nd to the 5th of August. This is a traditional event for the people of Douglas. The Douglas County Rodeo and the Douglas County Fair brings together three of the major events from the PRCA Rodeos. There are stages where best country musicians come and entertain all the people who visit the fair. There is a carnival for all the kids to enjoy rides and have fun. The Douglas County Fair and Rodeo has something for literally everybody in the family to enjoy.

Xtreme Bulls

The first day of the event will be a blast for those looking for serious entertainment. Also known as the most dangerous rodeo event, the Xtreme Bulls circuit will travel to the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo. The event is going to be grueling for both the best bulls and the best bull riders in the world.

Patriot Rodeo

The Douglas County Fair and Rodeo always makes it a point to honor the men and women who are willing to lay their lives on the line for our country. There is a Patriot Rodeo that takes place on the second day of the event. For all the retired soldiers and veterans, a free admission to the rodeo is available. All you have to do is remember to bring a military ID with yourself. People are encouraged to wear the colors of our flag to honor these brave souls.

Additional Events

There is a host of events and activities to enjoy at the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo every year. This year will feature Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Racing, and Tie Down Roping and many more events. One of the most entertaining event will be bull riding. In this, you see a rider trying to place a rope around a behemoth 2,000 pound bull. The riders will try to finish this task before the famed eight-second buzzer goes off. Β
