It’s time to rodeo in Flagstaff, Arizona! Add the 9th Annual Flagstaff Pro Rodeo in Flagstaff, Arizona, at the Fort Tuthill County Park from June 23rd – June 25th to your calendar. You can expect to see bull riding, barrel racing, bronc riding, tie-down roping, and more, plus a mounted shooting showdown each night of the performance. With its near-perfect temperatures, big, starry sky outlined with ponderosa pines, and award-winning arena, this is a rodeo you don’t want to miss.
If you want to get to the rodeo a day early, check out the annual jackpot fundraiser barrel race. Preview the excitement and watch as competitors compete under the lights on the arena’s award-winning ground. Buckles will be awarded to each division winner, youth and senior, and this event is WPRA approved.
Performances kick off Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 pm each night, with gates opening at 5 pm. If you want the whole experience, think about splurging on premier or VIP tickets and enjoy reserved bleacher seating with both options and dinner and drinks by purchasing the VIP tickets. General admission is general seating only. Each night, you’ll witness the best cowboys and cowgirls competing in their respective events, but you’ll also get the chance to see a showdown between the best-mounted shooters at 8 pm. The Flagstaff Pro Rodeo 2022 Queen Rosie Wiltbank and Teen Queen Jacquelyn Garner laid down the miles this year, visiting rodeos across the state and the country representing their home rodeo. Flagstaff Pro Rodeo Royalty symbolizes the youth of the rodeo and their town while promoting the sport of rodeo and, in so doing, promoting the great western way of life. She is an ideal western-type American girl with an appealing appearance, a friendly personality, knowledge of the equine industry, the community of Flagstaff, and the sport of professional rodeo. She is a young lady who enjoys travel and has a sincere interest in garnering educational experiences that will assist in laying a solid foundation for her future. The new Queen and Teen Queen will be crowned at this upcoming rodeo.
If you’re staying for the whole weekend, think about getting right with the big man. You can attend Cowboy Church on Saturday, June 25th at 8 am with special guest Ed Avery. The after-party kicks off that same day, sponsored by Northern AZ Riding Stables. Enjoy live music from County Line in the arena starting at 9 pm.
