Initially, the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L will be offered with two engines: the base Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 and the Hemi 5.7-liter V-8. Both are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, MotorTrend says in a review.

US News and World Report Cars compliments the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s posh interior, user friendly infotainment system and excellent off-road ability. It sports an “upscale interior with comfy seats,” notes their review, with decent space for adults in the back rows. Comfort features include a power-operated liftgate, automatic high-beam headlamps, remote start, interior ambient lighting, driver memory settings, leather upholstery and heated second-row seats.

The L model features a more modern interior design, with materials that appear to be “a cut above,” says a Car and Driver review. You’ll find plenty of space for gear, especially with the back seats folded down, a “neat and tidy operation” requiring just one action to release the headset and flop the seats down, notes Car and Driver.

Look for a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard, which can be upgraded with optional in-dash navigation, says Car and Driver. Available rear-seat entertainment and in-car Wi-Fi make the Grand Cherokee “a movie theater on wheels.” A six-speaker audio system comes standard, with multiple upgrade options available.

Available safety and driver-assist features include automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning and adaptive cruise control.
