Gunnison Cattlemen’s Days Rodeo 2018

The PRCA brings you the 118th Annual Gunnison Cattlemen’s Days Rodeo, in Gunnison, Colorado, on July 6-15. With the rodeo being the 12-14th!

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) brings you the 118th Annual Gunnison Cattlemen’s Days, Gunnison Rodeo, in Gunnison, Colorado, on July 6 through July 15 with rodeos on July 12, 13, and 14 as well as afternoon and evening carnivals on July 12, 13, and 14.
Selected by American Cowboy magazine as one of “THE TOP 101 WESTERN EVENTS” in the country, there is so much to attend and to enjoy at this “Granddaddy of Colorado Rodeos.” The whole family will have a wonderful time at the PRCA Gunnison Cattlemen’s Days, Gunnison Rodeo, experiencing the western way of life, the best livestock in the nation, horse shows and races, boot-stomping entertainment, concessions for the rodeo and horse show provided by the 4-H clubs and other vendors. Everyone will cheer on the roping, riding, bull riding, and racing skills of the top cowboys and cowgirls in the world.

SUNDAY, July 8 – Horse Show
MONDAY, July 9 – 8:30 AM 4-H Interviews and General Project Judging, 9:00 AM Dog Obedience Show, 3:00 PM Cat Show, Team Auction Before Team Ranch Sorting, 7:00 PM 4-H Project Market Place with Revue and Awards, 7:00 PM Cowboy Poetry at The I Bar Ranch.
TUESDAY, July 10 – 8:30 AM Goat and Sheep Show, 4:30 PM Mountaineer Square Ballroom VIP Meet, Greet, and Dinner, 7:00 PM Live Auction and Singer–Songwriters Concert.
WEDNESDAY, July 11 – 8:30 AM Poultry and Rabbit Show, 5:00 PM Barrel Racing and Team Roping Auction, 6:00 PM Elks Lodge Banquet.
THURSDAY, July 12 – 10:00 AM Swine Show, 2:30 PM Sheep Show, 7:00 PM “Tough Enough To Wear Pink Rodeo” with everyone to wear pink, 9:00 PM Dance at The Elks Lodge for $10 per person, tentative 9:45 PM Concert at I-Bar.
FRIDAY, July 13 – 9:00 AM Goat Show, 10:30 AM Cattle Show, 1:30 PM 4-H Showmanship Championship, 7:00 PM “Patriot Night” Rodeo with everyone to wear the patriotic red, white, and blue, 9:00 PM Dance at The Elks Lodge for $10 per person..
SATURDAY, July 14 – 10:00 AM Parade with the theme of “Mardi Gras in the Rockies,“ 12:30 PM BBQ for Livestock Buyers, 1:30 PM 4-H Presentation of Scholarship, 2:00 PM Junior Livestock Sale, 7:00 PM PRCA Evening Family Night Rodeo, Concert at the I-Bar Ranch later.
SUNDAY, July 15 – 9:00 AM Cowboy Church/ FCA Services at the Rodeo Grounds Grandstands, Team Roping Jackpot at the Fair Grounds.
Available at a ticket booth at Gunnison Bank starting July 2 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or can be bought at the main gate prior to each rodeo. The costs are Adults $20.00 for General Admission with children 12 and under $5 with a paid adult ticket, Three-Day General Admission Adults $40 with Kids 12 and under $15 with a paid adult ticket, Reserved Grandstand Adults $25.00 with children 12 and under $5 with paid grandstand adult ticket.
