Hal Earnhardt of Earnhardt Auto Centers

Written by

Many of you may not know that Hal Earnhardt, the well-known Arizona mega auto dealer and son of Tex Earnhardt, has been a thoroughbred horse breeder since 1990. In addition, his company which was established in 1951, called Earnhardt Auto Centers, is the oldest family-owned and operated automobile businesses in the Southwest. Just as his father taught him, Hal knows the value of a dollar and the meaning of working hard to get what you want and be where you want to be. All three Earnhardt generations that work for this top auto dealer in the U.S., have started from the ground floor and rightly earned their positions in the company.

Furthermore, Hal Earnhardt has also worked hard at his career in team roping for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. While Hal did take some time off from the sport for 30 years, he and his roping partner Victor Aros won the Pro Rodeo team roping event at the annual World’s Oldest Continuous Rodeo in Payson in 2011, which put him back on the map. At 59 years old, Hal Earnhardt, is one of the oldest competitors on the Pro Rodeo circuit, but the self-described competitive player does not let age stop him. He says the necessary components have to be there also: a good horse, a good partner, and a good draw. No matter what, it is Hal’s commitment to excellence that the Cowboy Lifestyle Network admires the most.
