Hooey Top Gun Invitational

Fallon, Nevada – Mark your calendars for the first annual Hooey Top Gun Invitational on December 31, 2022. It’ll take place at the beautiful brand-new 3C Event Complex located at 325 Sheckler Rd, Fallon, NV 89406. This is the time to party in the dirt and ring in the new year together! All ages are welcome – don’t wait, purchase your tickets today!

Come experience twenty top professional bull riders take on some of the rankest bulls around. Some of the riders include Jordan Spears who’s a five-time NFR qualifier and Dalan Duncan who’s a top 20 PRCA bull rider and Wilderness Circuit champion. These cowboys will have the opportunity to ride two times. The high-mark rider of the night will get the chance to ride the RCI Bounty bull for a bonus of $2,000 and $10,000 in the purse. The champion of the night will also receive a one-of-a-kind Hooey Top Gun Invitational buckle and jacket. This extreme event will have you on the edge of your seat. We’re excited to see who will be the champion! Any top qualified pro bull riders are eligible to enter this event off of the provided QR code. The top animal athletes are being brought in by some of the best stock contractors around including James Clark with JJJ Bucking Bulls, Tim Roberts with Mann Creek Buck-n-Bulls who owns RCI Bounty Bull, and along with five other subcontractors. This is a night you don’t want to miss out on!

Hooey Top Gun Invitational Champion Winner Jacket

Fireworks will take the skies before the event then you’ll make your way indoors to this extreme event. The doors will open at 6:30 pm and the event will kick off at 8:00 pm. Prepare for a very patriotic opening ceremony as the event will be honoring our U.S. military. Be sure to bring your appetite as there will be many delicious food vendors and bars set up to grab a bite and a cold one. Cash and card will be accepted and there will be ATMs available on-site.

After the bull riding event is sure to stick around because there will be a concert to follow. You’ll be welcome to enter the arena to party in the dirt as the Last Chance Band from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho will be performing. There is a host hotel, Holiday Inn in Fallon, Nevada located at 55 Commercial Way, Fallon, NV 89406. Also, be sure to catch the pre-party on Friday, December 30th at The Grid Brew Pub & Restaurant located at 1120 Taylor Pl, Fallon, NV 89406. The pre-party will kick off at 7:00 pm and this is where the twenty bull riders competing will be divided into two-man teams. All ages are welcome!

* VIP (box seats-$100/table-$800) includes an exclusive area that is up close to where all the action is. There’s a catered meal included and a private VIP bar for drinks to purchase. The meal will include pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, potato salad, and chips. The meat will be provided by Falls Brand.

Justin Andrade is a former PBR bull rider, Bull Riders Only (BRO) world champion, and an NFR qualifier. Chad Denton is a three-time PBR world finalist and an NFR qualifier.

The Oasis of Nevada Fallon

The Hooey Top Gun Invitational is presented by The Oasis of Nevada Fallon (City of Fallon). Come experience Fallon, Nevada located approximately 63 miles east of Reno, Nevada. Fallon has long been known as the β€œOasis of Nevada”. This phrase came to be in 1948 by the Fallon Chamber of Commerce and has stuck around ever since. Fallon as well as its surrounding countryside truly is a stunning oasis with its cultural havens and lush agriculture in the rural Nevada desert. Fallon is the proud home to the Naval Air Station (NAS). The Naval Air Station Fallon is also the home to the U.S. Navy-Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) since 1996.

Howdy, I'm Megan deFabry. I grew up in Reno, Nevada, but since 2017 my heart has called Texas home. I now reside in Austin, Texas since 2020. I'm driven by my faith, cherished relationships with family and friends, and my professional ambitions. My work even caught the eye of Cowboy Lifestyle Network's CTO, Irish Padmore, who recognized me for contributing to his research on Consumer Behavior in the Age of AI.
