Horses Help, a non-profit center for Equine Assisted Activities and Learning, Β has been serving the special needs, at-risk, and military/fire/police populations for over 30 years.
Horses Help attracts individuals, from the greater Phoenix area, who participate in a multitude of programs including, but not limited to: Adaptive Riding and Horsemanship, Equine Assisted Learning, and Hippotherapy.
On Wednesday, December 20th, Horses Help will host its annual Winter Open House.
This event provides a unique opportunity for the public to meet the staff, see the facility and horses, and interact with some of the participants.
It will be an evening full of fun for the whole family! Activities will include pony rides for ages 4-12, face painting, Β a bounce house, crafts, food, holiday shopping, and even a singing Santa!
Along with all the fun and meeting the horses, visitors, who are so inclined, can choose a star from the horsesβ Wishing Tree to help give them their Christmas gifts.
The items on the stars will help maintain each horseβs daily care, such as halters, hoof picks, brushes, just to name a few. Β
So come, have some fun and check out the Wishing Tree!
