Junior NFR 2017 at Las Vegas Convention Center during Wrangler NFR 2017

Because of this, competitors start when they are pretty young, in the hopes of one day becoming a world champion. Taking place between December 7-16 during the Wrangler NFR, the Junior National Finals Rodeo has grown so much in recent years that it garners plenty of media coverage. Whether it’s the Cowboy Lifestyle Network giving fans lots of behind-the-scenes looks at the competition or fans being treated to great interviews courtesy of the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Earnhardt Auto Centers, and Papa John’s Road Team, there’s no doubt the competition will get extensive coverage.
