Get ready to shake up your Saturday and join us for one of Chandler’s most spirited events of the year—the Kilt Classic Pub Crawl! This isn’t just any pub crawl; it’s a chance to wear your finest kilt, toast to a great cause, and celebrate our Chandler Fire Department and fallen firefighters. Whether you’re a seasoned pub crawler or new to the scene, this day promises an unforgettable blend of fun, friendship, and fierce kilt fashion!
The festivities start at New Square and will take you on a lively journey through five of Chandler’s best pubs. Each stop offers more than just a cold drink. Expect live bagpipes filling the streets with their unmistakable sound, setting a lively tone, and adding a touch of Celtic flair. With every pub we visit, there’s a drink included in your ticket and incredible food to keep you going all day.
And what’s a Kilt Classic without a little competition? We’re looking for the boldest, most stylish kilts, so don’t hold back—awards await for those who bring their A-game! The crawl culminates in a finale with a silent auction packed with exciting items you won’t want to miss out on.

History of Chandler Fire Dept
Fire protection for the Town of Chandler began in 1917 when the Chamber of Commerce organized a fire company consisting of 18 volunteers. At that time, the town had approximately 2,000 residents. The fire company was led by Town Marshal Joe Sparks who was also the town’s only law enforcement officer. The Chamber of Commerce equipped the volunteer company with six hundred feet of hose, several nozzles, and two hose carts.
