The Kitsap County Fair & Stampede celebrates over 60 years bringing upwards of 74,000 visitors to the annual five-day celebration at the Thunderbird Arena and Stadium in Bremerton, Washington, August 21-25th.
The Kitsap County Fair & Stampede is an abundance of exhibits, 4H and FFA exhibits, livestock competitions, specialty food and beverages, grounds entertainment, and a carnival. The Thunder Bird Arena is home to the PRCA Rodeo, Xtreme Bulls, and Destruction Derby.
The Kitsap Stampede
The three-night, nine event, edge of your seat, rodeo starts Wednesday, August 21st and ends Friday, August 23rd. Events include PRCA and WPRA sanctioned events; Bareback Bronc Riding, Break-Away Roping, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Barrel Racing, Saddle Bronc Riding, and Team Roping. Friday night- August 23rd is Wrangler Tough Enough to Wear Pink night, wear pink to show support and raise awareness for Breast Cancer. All proceed donated go to a local breast cancer non-profit foundation.
The fun doesn’t end on Friday. Come Saturday, August 24th, watch some of the top bull riders ride the rankest bulls as they compete for $10,000.00 in the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Tour. Money won in the event counts towards the PRCA world standing but does not count toward the PRCA’s all-around standings.

Singer and songwriter, John Wesley Satterfield; working on his fifth studio release. His unique sound of American music is a blend of rock’n’roll, country, bluegrass, and folk. Catch John Wesley playing Center Stage on Wednesday, August 21st at 7 pm.
Thursday, August 22nd, with a hot new release, “Stay on Fire,” Stevie Monce performs at 7 pm on the Center Stage. This Nashville-based artist is a bit of classical Rock ‘n’ Roll meets southern flare.
John Gurney & David Borné perform on Friday, August 23rd. John Gurney, winner of the 2018 NSAI Song Contest, presented by CMT. The first season of E! Network. “Very Cavallari” showcased his song “I Can’t Take You Anywhere,” throughout the show. “Home with Her,” is another top-charting song featured on Spotify’s “Hot Country” playlist, as well as the “Global Viral 50” chart.
Performing alongside John Gurney is David Borné, an Americana singer/songwriter/artist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, known for his independent debut EP, “Break My Heart.”
Craig Morgan performs Friday, August 24th on the Center Stage. One of country music’s best artists topping the Billboard charts with signature songs including “Bonfire,” “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” and much more.
