Miss Rodeo America 2015 – Pageant Recap

Fashion Show Rehearsals & Personality Interviews Rule –  Day Two at the Miss Rodeo America 2015 Pageant

By Morgan Gaertner & Gretchen Kirchmann
Monday December 1, 2015 at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant there was rehearsal, interviews, rehearsal, more rehearsal, and interviews. Day two for the state queens was harder than they had originally thought, with hours upon hours going into rehearsing for the Wrangler Fashion Show on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. The Cowboy Lifestyle Network saw with each and every contestant the work ethic and simple luxuries these ladies give up during this week like sleep and food. There is very little time for each of those things because of the numerous hours dedicated to perfecting the state queens every step and shake for this Fashion Show.
We have not yet seen all their outfits, but the previews of the clothes for Wrangler Western, Vintage, and Double D have been wonderful. There were plenty of sponsors for the fabulous show. Cowboy Lifestyle Network enjoyed both sides of the curtain. Our team included Morgan behind the scenes helping with wardrobe changes and contestant lineups and Gretchen in the audience tweeting out the fashions.

Task: Look like a Queen

We noticed a lot of the women wearing decorative jackets, with their symbolic flowers and colors to each state being worn proudly for all to see. The peplum-style jackets are still in fashion, with so many of the girls adorning them. We weren’t sure if it was because of the ease of wearing them and moving around for our rehearsal, the interview with the judges that they had, or the fashion-forwardness of this style, but boy are we happy with it! We definitely think this style needs to stay around for a little while longer! There are so many different ways to wear a peplum-style item, with dresses, skirts, tops, jackets, and….okay well maybe not jeans, we will agree with you on that.
With this still being the beginning of the week for the state queens to compete for the Miss Rodeo America 2015 Crown, we anticipated additional beautiful and stylish items coming down the runway or the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino hallway from these ladies. It seems this organization has a wonderful group of girls who are each waiting to hear their name called in that first spot of Miss Rodeo America.
We look forward to bring you the rest of the pageant’s recaps so please check back for updates. Subscribe to our YouTube and follow us Twitter to receive the most up-to-date information on your state queens and the rest of the year, goes on.
