1 lb fresh ground turkey (85% lean)
1/2 cup diced red onion
1 teaspoon McCormick Steak Seasoning Salt
Black pepper, to taste
Sliced Cheese (I use pepper jack or swiss)
Thousand Island Dressing
Lettuce
Sliced tomato
Your favorite hamburger buns!
Directions:
With your hands, mix the ground turkey, red onion, season salt and black pepper until blended together. Form into patties and grill, or cook on the stove top, until juices run clear and burgers are well done. Remove from heat, top with cheese and cover with a lid until cheese is melted. If grilling, turn off grill, put cheese on top of burgers, close grill cover and leave for about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, fix the buns with Thousand Island dressing, lettuce and tomato. Top with burger and enjoy! We like to serve our burgers with Ranch Style beans and coleslaw!
