Lone River Ranch Water Phoenix Restaurant Tour

If you caught our last article, then you know that Lone River Ranch Water has officially launched in Arizona. If you haven’t had an opportunity to try the West Texas beverage, then we encourage you to do that right away. What’s better, we are about to tell you exactly where to go to get your fix along with some bomb food that pairs perfectly with this refreshing, bubbly drink. Let’s go!

First stop, Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek, Arizona

It all started in 1951, the now-famous Buffalo Chip Saloon has come a long way since its humble beginnings as a feed and bait shop along the way to Bartlett and Horseshoe Lakes. The original building was only 800 square feet on about 2/3rds of an acre. Today it has grown to encompass 5 acres and over 6,000 square feet and has become one of the most authentic dance halls and saloons in the country.

There truly is something for everyone at The Chip. If you like to dance you can come to spin your partner to the toe-tappin’ sounds of one of the many bands that play at the venue. Wednesday and Friday night’s Live Bull Riding and Friday night’s All You Can Eat Fish Fry is a huge draw for the entire family. Larry Wendt has been the proprietor of The Buffalo Chip Saloon since 1999 and has made it what it is today. Over the years it has been known as The Crystal Palace, The Maverick, and finally the place we have all come to know and love, The Buffalo Chip Saloon and Steakhouse. As for the Ranch Water pairing they drummed up, they wanted to feature the “Spicy Ranch Water” with their house brisket sandwich and fried pickles. This sounds like a HOT combination to me and I can’t wait to stop by myself and give it a try!

Second Stop, Harold’s Corral in Cave Creek, Arizona

Don’t go too far after your first stop! As Cave Creek’s original β€œWild West Saloon and Restaurant,” Harold’s is a landmark and popular stomping ground for both locals and tourists. Celebrating over 80 years of history and good times. Harold’s features seating for 600 inside, 200 on the outside patio, 2 bars, a large stage, and dance floor, free Country Dance Lesson on Fridays from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and Live Entertainment by some of the BEST bands in the valley Wednesday through Sunday.

Harold’s features the finest Choice hand carved steaks and daily delivered fresh seafood. All our BBQ meats are smoked on-premise using mesquite wood to provide a traditional southwest flavor. Our wide variety menu features everything from Salads, Steaks, Seafood, Italian & Mexican dishes, to the best Hamburgers in Arizona.

For Harold’s pairing, they decided to pair the Prickly Pear Ranch Water with their Carne Asada Tacos. Ready for the next stop? We are headed across the street!

Third Stop, Mountain View Pub Restaurant in Cave Creek

We have Cave Creek representing! If you’re checking out the other two spots, then you need to wrap up your time in Cave Creek at the Mountain View Pub. Mountain View Pub is an Irish pub overlooking the beautiful mountains in the heart of Cave Creek, Arizona. They pride themselves on being a family and dog friendly restaurant. They also have live music that you can enjoy while overlooking the mountain view patio. They focus on Irish meals but also have several American traditional options for food. Check out more on Mountain View Pub, here. For their Ranch Water pairing, they decided to go with the Original Ranch Water with their popular Rueben Sandwich!

Fourth Stop, Belle’s Nashville Kitchen in Scottsdale, Arizona

Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, Belle’s Nashville Kitchen has been stealing the heart of locals since they opened last year in the midst of Covid. They specialize in upscale comfort food, handcrafted cocktails, and a full Honky Tonk experience straight from the Music City itself. Belle’s Nashville Kitchen is a new concept honoring its historical location. This new local favorite is serving up dishes from award-winning Chef, Samantha Roberts, they also have a noteworthy whiskey selection and feature live local music from the most talented singers and bands across Arizona.

The Ranch Water pairing that they decided to go with is the Spicy Ranch Water with their Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese Sandwich which features Garlic Mayo-Texas Toast with oven-baked Macaroni and Cheese, with Garlic Fries as the side. Can you say YUM?! I don’t about ya’ll, but I’m headed there right now to get my hands on this sandwich!

Fifth Stop, Bourbon Jacks in Chandler, Arizona

If you’re looking for a downhome, Arizona honky-tonk, then don’t look any further than Bourbon Jacks in Chandler, Arizona. Known for their 7 days a week entertainment and dancing, they also have phenomenal food that should not be looked over. This gem in the desert is an absolute must on this restaurant tour! They are also known for their wide selection of Bourbons, Whiskeys, local craft beer, and signature drinks that can be paired alongside freshly prepared comfort food for foodies with all types of tastebuds.

The food pairing that they decide to go with was the Rio Red Ranch Water with their “Kick-Ass Nachos”. It doesn’t get any homier than a big plate of cheesy, spicy nachos! Pair that with the country ambiance and friendly staff, you won’t find a better experience in the valley.

Last Stop, Brickies Smokehouse and Grill in San Tan Valley, Arizona

If you are out if the south valley, then you are definitely going to want to come out and try Brickies! They are new to the valley and aim to provide fresh sandwiches and burgers along with some of the best smoked meat in San Tan Valley! You can check out their full menu here.
