Whether its steer wrestling, tie down roping, barrel racing or saddle bronc riding, SWIRA and the INFR gets excited about promoting the rugged activities of the rodeo life throughout the Southwest region. SWIRA pools its resources and network of sponsors in an effort to preserve a legacy established by a culture that played a significant part in shaping this great country of ours. Through information and popular events, their activities bring communities and families together for fun and entertainment while encouraging a mutual respect for the professional Indian rodeo through positive role modeling, competition and tradition.
With various tours and rodeos throughout the region, the Southwest Indian Rodeo Association continues to promote the advancement of an adventurous lifestyle that a cowboy, cowgirl and anyone else can learn about and experience with their own eyes.
