Take the Money and Ride 2015

For anyone in Arizona who enjoys bull riding, Tucson will be the place to be on October 2nd for Take the Money and Ride 2015. That’s when professional bull riders from around the country and the world will take part in the PBR BFTS Cooper Tires Take the Money and Ride 2015 event, which is sure to give any cowboy a thrill while watching this exciting action. With the world’s top 35 bull riders scheduled to compete, this elite event in the Built Ford Tough series is sure to have thrills and spills and much more.

Competitors

With media coverage from the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community, and the Earnhardt Auto Road Team, this BFTS event is destined to be the best yet. Some of the bull riders scheduled to take part includes:

  • Mike Lee
  • Reese Cates
  • Douglas Duncan
  • J.B. Mauney

As an added bonus, three-time World Champion Silvano Alves will also be attempting to tame the 2,000-pound bulls yet again in his quest for a fourth title.

The Last Regular-Season Event

What makes this PBR event in Tucson, Arizona so important to each cowboy competing is that it’s the last regular-season BFTS event in 2015. Therefore, it’s the last chance to earn the points they need to compete in the PBR Built Ford Tough Series finals, which take place in Las Vegas in late October. So for these professional bull riders, they know full well that how they do in Tucson will determine if they get to make the trip to Las Vegas.

Electrifying Action

For anyone who has attended this event in years past, they know it is always filled with electrifying action. Returning to Tucson for the first time in 17 years, this BFTS event is sure to feature bull riding at its best. With a purse of more than $140,000 up for grabs, it’s a sure thing that every cowboy will try to reach the crucial 8-second mark as they attempt to win the title.

Ticket Information

With ticket prices starting at only $22, this event is very affordable for families everywhere. Tickets can be purchased at the Tucson Convention Center, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 800-745-3000. While 35 professional bull riders will be competing in this Built Ford Tough Series event in Arizona, the competition will be pared down to the top 15 after the first two rounds. After that, it’s one ride for all the money, with the top bull riding cowboy leaving town with $30,000 in his hands.
