Adrenaline, Dust & Tradition: The Silver Spurs Rodeo Returns

Rodeo News

Few events capture the heart of Western tradition quite like the Silver Spurs Rodeo. Returning to Kissimmee, Florida, this iconic event blends edge-of-your-seat competition with family-friendly entertainment, making it a must-attend experience for rodeo fans and first-timers alike. From thundering hooves to roaring crowds, the Silver Spurs Rodeo delivers a night of unforgettable action rooted in history, community, and cowboy pride.

Held at the Silver Spurs Arena inside Osceola Heritage Park, the rodeo continues its legacy as one of Florida’s most celebrated sporting traditions, drawing top professional talent and thousands of spectators year after year.

A Tradition Rooted in History

Founded in 1944 by a group of local Florida ranchers, the Silver Spurs Rodeo has grown from a small community gathering into one of the oldest continuously running rodeos east of the Mississippi River. For more than 80 years, the rodeo has celebrated the grit, skill, and spirit of cowboy culture while giving back through scholarships, youth programs, and community support. Today, the Silver Spurs Rodeo remains a proud symbol of Florida’s deep ranching heritage and a must-see event for generations of rodeo fans.

“Rooted in Arizona, it’s always great to see rodeo happening all over the United States.”
