Widely regarded as one of the sport’s most prestigious events, it draws thousands of ropers each year from across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and South America. Following last year’s monumental $3.4 million payout, 2026 is shaping up to be even more extraordinary. Total Feeds National Breakaway Championships
Alongside the Cinch NFTR, the Total Feeds National Breakaway Championships is set for April 22 at the Watt Arena inside the Will Rogers Memorial Center. The growth of breakaway roping has been remarkable to watch, and it’s not slowing down! Opportunities like these continue to expand across the country, and it’s a testament to the producers and athletes who have helped push the sport forward.

To Compete
In order to compete at the Cinch NFTR, you must have an active USTRC or WSTR membership, and you must have attended at least one USTRC event or WSTR qualifier within the last year. NRS will also be hosting last-minute qualifiers April 17-19 if you still need to secure your spot, or are simply just wanting some good warm-up runs before the finals.
