The annual Heroes Fall Extravaganza features a wide variety of vendors offering seasonal items and unique crafts. Guests can round out their visit with a game of mini golf or enjoy pinball and other activities in the Ice and Events Center’s family‑friendly arcade. This event supports Simply Heroes, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to assisting local first responders, military personnel, and veterans.

Heirlooms & Blooms Harvest Market | September 19, 2026 | Cheyenne Botanic Gardens
This one‑day event features a wide selection of regionally handcrafted gifts created by local artists and makers. Offerings include home décor, woodworking, art, jewelry, baked goods, apparel, and pottery. Visitors are also encouraged to stop by the Paul Smith Children’s Village during their visit.

Ride with a Ranger | September 12, 2026 | Curt Gowdy State Park
This program gives participants the opportunity to bike the Gowdy trail system with guidance from LE Rangers. Multiple rangers will be available to lead rides based on varying skill levels. Regular day‑use fees apply, and while there is no additional cost for the program itself, registration is required. Fees include a 7‑dollar day‑use fee per resident vehicle and a 12‑dollar day‑use fee per non‑resident vehicle.

Dog Jog 5K | September 20, 2026 | 3801 Archer Parkway,Cheyenne, WY 82009
This scenic 5K course is designed for all fitness levels and includes water stations for both participants and their pups. The event features prizes for the fastest finishers and best‑dressed dogs, along with post‑race activities such as vendor booths, snacks, and an award ceremony. All proceeds support the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.

Indian Relay Championship of Champions | September 25–27, 2026 | Frontier Park
The 10th annual Indian Relay Championship of Champions is expected to bring in more than 100 relay teams representing over 15 tribal nations. Competitors will showcase their skill and daring as they race head‑to‑head on the track.

End of the Trail Kite Festival | September 26, 2026 | Pine Bluffs Recreation
The festival offers a free kite to the first 100 kids age 14 and under, along with an all‑fly event, a bounce house, a kite trolley, stunt kite demonstrations, and a variety of craft and food vendors.
