Where to Find YETI at the National Finals Rodeo 2021

Written by

It is that time of the year again in the western industry where companies are gearing up for the Super Bowl of rodeo, the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 2021, and YETI is no exception! With ten days of rodeo, shopping, and entertainment for the whole family, YETI will be there every step of the way.

National Finals Rodeo Athletes: Who to Watch

With YETI putting a heavy focus on community, it’s no surprise that they have several athletes headed to the NFR that will wear the nostalgic “YETI” patch on their shirts. Here are a few you can keep an eye on below.

The Wrights

Stetson and Ryder will once again see the bright lights of Vegas. With these two competing, you will be sure to see the rest of the family as well cheering them on. Currently, Stetson is sitting number one in the All-Around and Saddle Bronc, and second in bull riding, and Ryder is sitting second in saddle bronc. It’s going to be an interesting year!

JB Mauney

The “Dragon Slayer” is headed to the Thomas and Mack Center for the very first time, sitting in the number 6 spot. JB Mauney is coming in with something to prove and he is ready to take his shot at the World Championship. There is no doubt he will also snag a few round wins.

Tyler Pearson

With several trips to the NFR, Tyler is sitting at number four in the standings for steer wrestling. The competition above him is Jacob Talley in the number one spot, Jesse Brown in number two, and veteran NFR Qualifier, Dakota Eldridge sitting at number 3. Can Tyler close the gap? We can’t wait to find out!

These are just a few of the athletes heading to the finals in December. Some other notable athletes include Richmond Champion, Hailey Kinsel, Derrick Begay, and Shad Mayfield.

Junior World Finals

As the presenting sponsor of the Junior World Finals, it’s no surprise that YETI is supporting the youth of the western industry. The Junior World Finals, presented by YETI, will host over 850 contestants in the Wrangler Rodeo Arena, which is housed in the Las Vegas Convention Center and takes place over 10 days of NFR in December. These young, rodeo athletes will compete for more than $1 million in cash and prizes on their journey to claim an infamous Montana Silversmiths championship buckle. Taking place December 2-11, 2021 you will be able to catch kids ranging in age competing in nine different events all vying for a number one spot. You can find the full schedule here.

Cowboy Christmas

If you love shopping be sure to check out Cowboy Christmas held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, open December 1-11, 2021. The YETI booth will be set up near the NFR Experience Live stage at booth number 4728. Here you can shop for all of the latest products and gear. Not to mention, you might be able to snag some pictures or autographs from your favorite YETI Ambassadors.

World Series Team Roping Finals 2021

World Series Team Roping (WSTR) had its beginnings in 2006 and since then is now considered to be the second-largest paying equestrian event in the world ($10.5 million) behind the Breeder’s Cup World Championships. In fact, in years past, the WSTR Finale surpassed the payoff of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, awarding $10,535,000 in cold, hard CASH and another $250,000 in prizes to its winners. And it’s back after a long two years, in December, in Vegas, at the South Point Arena. YETI is a national sponsor of the WSTR (World Series of Team Roping) with the Finale taking place at the South Point Arena, December 4-11th, 2021.

In conclusion, there won’t be a shortage of YETI anywhere in Las Vegas during the Super Bowl of rodeo. YETI’s goal has and will always be to focus on their community and rodeo is a big part of that. When you buy YETI, you become a part of something bigger than yourself. Stay wild my friends, we will see you at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 2021!
