What can you expect at a PRCA Pro Rodeo? The sport of rodeo includes seven events: barrel racing, bareback bronc riding, bull riding, calf roping or tie-down roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling and team roping. In addition, be prepared to see tons of cowboys and cowgirls who live and love the Western way of life. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s headquarters is located in Colorado Springs, CO. According to prorodeo.com, the PRCA sanctions over 600 rodeos, between Canada and the United States. Furthermore, there are approximately 5, 300 active PRCA members and over 7,000 PRCA card holders; in which, both contract personal and are permit holders.
