2025 Hell on Wheels Rodeo Recap

For six thrilling seasons, the Hell on Wheels Rodeo has reshaped the rodeo landscape of Cheyenne, Wyoming. A city known for its big rodeo thrills, non-stop cowboy action, and omnipresent western spirit, Cheyenne is a cornerstone of cowboy heritage, history, and entertainment. With rodeos big and small calling Cheyenne home, the Hell on Wheels rodeo stands out for its unique open rodeo format where anyone from the weekend warrior to the seasoned professional can pay the entry fee and compete in any or all of the nine rodeo events.

The 2025 Hell on Wheels Rodeo Season featured five action-packed rodeos and a final championship performance running June through September. The Hell on Wheels Rodeo has become a staple in Cheyenne, celebrating western spirit, family fun, and community pride with neighbors old and new. The 2024 season saw over $66,000 in payouts to rodeo athletes and in 2025 that number increased to over $73,000, proving the eventโ€™s ever-growing impact. Whatโ€™s in store for 2026? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, itโ€™s going to be big! Tickets go on sale December 1st, making it the perfect holiday gift for the cowboy or cowgal in the family.

From her roots in barrel racing to her role as the 2017 Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen and her involvement with the Cowgirls Historical Foundation, Taryn celebrates her western heritage with enthusiasm and authenticity. Taryn holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University, allowing her to merge her passion for music with her love of cowboy culture.
