Saddle Up in Style at the 2025 NFR!

When the National Finals Rodeo hits Las Vegas this December, it won’t just be bulls and broncs turning heads. The fashion scene at the NFR is a full-blown spectacle and for those of us who live and breathe western style, it’s the Super Bowl of fringe, leather, and rhinestones. As someone who’s never met a vintage Nudie Cohn or Manuel Cuevas number she didn’t love, I’m already planning my suitcase with the flair of a Rhinestone Cowboy. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of western fashion from yesteryear, a modern cowgirl with a penchant for glitter and bold patterns, or someone who prefers comfort and practicality to showmanship, there’s room for every kind of style under the neon lights of Las Vegas.

Fashion at the NFR falls into various camps: vintage, modern, and Vegas flair. Vintage lovers like myself lean into nostalgia with embroidered sets, classic high-rise denim jeans, fringe jackets, handkerchiefs to accessorize, 60s and 70s inspired prairie dresses, and plenty of turquoise, all harkening back to the golden age of rodeo queens and country music legends like Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline. Modern cowgirls keep it fresh with monochrome palettes, elevated basics, sleek silhouettes, and boots that blend comfort with trend… but the best part about it all? There are no rules! Our fashion choices are as unique to us as our finger prints and serve as an incredible way to tell your own story. If you are still looking for the perfect NFR outfit(s), I’ve rounded up my must-haves and favorite brands that are guaranteed to turn heads and make a statement in Vegas this year!

Catch every thrilling moment of the NFR in total comfort, with plenty of seating, multiple massive screens, and free admission. Whether you’re a die-hard rodeo fan or just soaking up the cowboy vibes, this exclusive event is your ticket to the ultimate NFR getaway. With the crowd buzzing and cameras flashing, it’s the perfect place to show off your one-of-a-kind NFR style!

Double D Ranch: Vintage Meets Modern Flair

As you can probably tell, I love vintage western fashion! There is a timeless charm about hand-crafted, bespoke pieces that have stood the test of time and have countless stories to tell. One brand that I believe does an incredible job at blending vintage western charm with classy modernity and sophistication is none other than Double D Ranch. With a catalog spanning all categories of cowgal clothing essentials, I am especially drawn to their Atomic Ranch Collection

With its blend of rockabilly spirit and ranch house charm, the Double D Ranch Atomic Ranch collection is a standout choice for the NFR. Its bold colors, vintage 1950s influence, and effortless day-to-night versatility make it both eye-catching and practical for rodeo week.

Wrangler: Keep it Classic and Cool

What’s a trip to the NFR without repping the most classic brand of them all, Wrangler! If you’re unsure where to start, don’t worry, Wrangler’s done the heavy lifting with their Party Ready Collection, designed specifically with the 2025 NFR in mind. Packed with plenty of outfit inspiration for both the guys and gals, it’s the perfect collection to enhance your NFR look book. Here are some of my top picks!

For the cowgirls, you can’t go wrong with a classic Wrangler denim. What better way to rock a day-time look exploring Cowboy Christmas than in the Wrangler x Lainey Wilson Cheeky Wide Leg Jean! In the timeless colorway, “Wrangler Blue,” these jeans are both a flattering and comfortable option for strutting down the Vegas strip. Pair them with your favorite vintage tee, a handkerchief, layered jewelry, your favorite hat, and you’ve got a look that’s both effortless and fashion-forward!

For the guys, the Wrangler Vintage-Inspired Brushpopper Western Snap Workshirt is a standout. With a variety of colorways to choose from, this fun, fresh, and bold pearl snap channels Brooks & Dunn energy with a big splash of Vegas flair. Its relaxed fit makes it a comfortable pick for a day exploring all Vegas has to offer.

Classic Rock Couture: Little Bit Country, Little Bit Rock n’ Roll

Rocker-chic meets country cool with Classic Rock Couture! Proudly homegrown in the state of Arizona, Classic Rock Couture is known for their desert inspired Bomber Jackets and cheeky playsuits. With colorways that honor the desert landscapes of the wild west, CRC is a perfect choice for a night out enjoying live music at the NFR.

My personal favorite from the collection? The Cinnamon Girl Corduroy Pants. A nostalgic nod to late-60s western wear with a modern twist, the pants feature a decorative yoke and a flattering high-waisted silhouette straight out of the 70s, making them effortlessly versatile for dressing up or down. But if you’re craving something more playful, the Cinnamon Girl Gold Corduroy Playsuit is your go-to. This flirty romper channels vintage desert appeal with its rich texture and standout agave embroidery, a true homage to the sun-soaked Southwest.

Tecovas: These Boots are made for Walking

Let’s talk footwear, because if the NFR isn’t your first rodeo, you already know: comfort is non-negotiable. With nonstop action from sunup to sundown, your boots need to go the distance. Whether you’re exploring the Las Vegas Strip or two-stepping under the neon lights, Tecovas has your back (and your feet). Their handcrafted boots blend timeless style with all-day comfort, so you can look sharp and feel even better, no matter where the day takes you.

When it comes to my favorite boots, I believe the best accessory is a bold pop of color. That’s why I’m obsessed with the Tecovas Annie Boots. With their perfect shin-height silhouette and timeless charm, The Annie is a closet essential that transitions seamlessly from day to night. Whether you’re pairing them with denim, dresses, or something in between, these boots bring personality and polish to any look. Bringing your littles to the NFR this year? Then it’s time to double the charm, grab them their own pair of Annie Toddler Boots and twin in style! How cute is that?!

H Bar C, Jukebox Mama, Union Western: For the Rhinestone Cowboy

When reflecting on the legacy of western fashion, few periods shine as brightly as the Glitterati Era. Defined by its dazzling craftsmanship and bold designs, this golden age saw country music icons like Porter Wagoner, Hank Williams, Tex Williams, Don Gibson, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Cash donning unforgettable ensembles. These suits and matching sets, adorned with fringe, ornate yokes, and thousands of rhinestones, weren’t just stagewear; they were wearable art crafted by visionary designers such as Nudie Cohn, Nathan Turk, and Manuel Cuevas.

Once worn under stage lights and now preserved in museum cases or treasured by collectors, these rhinestone-studded suits remain icons of western fashion. Their influence endures, sparking a global revival that blends heritage with modern flair. For the cowboy chasing an NFR look that radiates confidence, effortless cool, and a nod to the golden age of country showmanship, turn to designers like H Bar C, Jukebox Mama, and Union Western.

Jukebox Momma and Union Western are masters of custom design, blending old-school country charm with bold, modern flair. Their specialty? Vivid, embroidered suits drenched in glitter and personality. With clients ranging from Post Malone to Marcus King, these designers are not just crafting outfits, they’re preserving the legacy of western fashion and pushing it into the future. If you’re hunting for a show-stopping NFR look that channels vintage showmanship with contemporary swagger, check out the custom creations of Jukebox Mama and Union Western!

Since 1897, HBarC has been dressing the outlaws. From Gene Autry to Elvis Presley, this long-standing institution has played a pivotal role in shaping western fashion. If you’re looking for a modern twist on a classic staple, check out HBarC’s Bolero Men’s Jacket, featuring standout embroidery and a sleek fit, it’s the perfect nod to the past while dressing for the future. Want a little more flash? Take a gander at HBarC’s Odessa Unisex Tour Jacket. With its red satin shine, you’re sure to stand out at this year’s NFR!
