The Stage is Set: Why Bourbon Jim’s is About to Become Your Ultimate Neighborhood “Cheers”

Rodeo News

Looking for that perfect spot where everybody knows your name, but the music actually rocks? Look no further. Chandler’s newest neighborhood hangout is officially hitting the stage on Friday, June 19th, and it’s about to redefine your weekend routine.

Bourbon Jim’s Neighborhood Bar and Grill isn’t just opening a door; it’s opening a whole new vibe. Blending the high-energy pulse of a rock ‘ n ‘ roll concert with the welcoming warmth of a classic country dance hall, this is the ultimate “Rock ’n’ Roll, Country, and Everything in Between” oasis you’ve been waiting for.

From a Dream to a Drastically Remodeled Reality

This vibrant hotspot was born from pure passion. Owners Jim Sampley and Jolie Boucher have been discussing the dream of partnering and opening a local Chandler establishment for a few years now, just waiting for the right time. When they found an abandoned establishment, they knew it was the perfect canvas.

They gutted the building from top to bottom to truly make it their own. With Jim’s expert background in contracting and construction paired with Jolie’s sharp business sense, their dream is finally coming to life.

“Jim and I have been friends for a while. We joke and say we are a lot like Donny and Marie. He’s a little bit country and I am a little bit rock and roll.”

But they didn’t do it alone. While this marks Jolie’s third successful bar opening in the City of Chandler, a community she passionately supports alongside her business investments in Rocky Point, she wanted this project to be about lifting others up. Jolie and Jim are bringing along a few trusted industry veterans, giving them their own shot at fulfilling their dreams and running the show.

Biography:

I grew up on a Midwest farm with dirt under my fingernails and the sound of wind rustling through cornfields. My childhood was all about 4H – raising pigs and horses, learning to bake and sew, and discovering the magic of transforming a garden into jars of summer sunshine. Those years taught me the value of hard work, the thrill of seeing a project through to the end, and the simple joy of creating something beautiful. A country girl with a need for speed and a thirst for adventure. Maybe that's why I love the feeling of wind in my hair – whether I'm cruising down a dusty road on my Harley or tackling a mountain trail on my trusty mountain bike. Some of my earliest memories of rodeo are watching my father compete at small local events. That's also where my love for country music comes in – long car rides listening to 8 tracks. The lyrics and melodies always spoke to my soul. These days, you'll find me cheering on the cowboys and cowgirls at rodeos, two-stepping to my favorite bands, belting out a country tune at a concert or sharing stories and laughter with friends around a bonfire. When I'm not soaking up the country life and getting my boots dirty, I'm a nurse, caring for folks in my community. Follow along for more stories from the heart of rodeo and country life!
