CKP Insurance: Building a Culture of Philanthropy

Need Feature Image – Do you have a team photo?

It’s not every day that you can say your insurance company gives back to the communities they serve. Well, when you’re a client of CKP Insurance, you can rest easy knowing that CKP Insurance gives out thousands of dollars every year to support the communities they serve. Below are just some of the channels that benefit from CKP’s culture of philanthropy.

One of the ways that they give back to their community is through event sponsorship. CKP sponsors events such as the Navajo County Fair, Arizona Cowpuncher’s Reunion, local bull ridings and so many more. Typically with these events, the money raised goes back to a community benefit of some kind. For example, at the Navajo County Fair, CKP is a huge supporter of the Navajo County Fair’s livestock show and auction, which directly benefits the kids who raised the livestock.

Another way CKP continues to build a culture of philanthropy is through partnerships. Currently, CKP Insurance is partnering with Chad Berger, of Berger Bucking Bulls. Chad Berger is the 11x PBR Stock Contractor of the Year, which is a feat no one else has been able to achieve. Chad Berger is very well respected in the stock contractor and rodeo world as he has owned and bred some of the best bucking bulls the world has ever seen. A few of them include the great, Little Yellow Jacket, Asteroid, Smooth Operator, and Pearl Harbor.

Additionally, last year CKP Insurance gave a $50,000 donation to the Arizona Cattle Growers’ Association in order to help the association move forward after a rough couple of months. CKP are huge advocates of supporting the cow and calf production in Arizona, the money will go to help support not only the state chapter but also support chapters at the county level as well.

One last major avenue of philanthropy is geared towards supporting the Navajo Nation. For the last several years, CKP Insurance has provided the Navajo Ranchlands with a Pasture, Rangeland, Forage Insurance policy, which protects the land during a drought. Just in the last couple of years alone, CKP has given back millions of dollars to the Navajo Nation which goes to local, agriculture infrastructure funds. There really is no limit to how CKP has been giving back to its communities.
