The Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo is an annual event that showcases west Texas heritage by creating a competition between cowboys from real working ranches in the Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma Panhandles area. For more history, visit the CCCRR Facebook page.
This event is held between June fifth and sixth at the Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo Texas. The rodeo is a two-day event, and both days hold separate pre-rodeo events.
Friday, June 5, has the Brats and Brews event at 5 pm, and the rodeo event starting at 7 pm with a post rodeo dance. Saturday, June 6, has A Bar-B-Que and brew event that starts at 5 pm and the rodeo event that starts at 7 pm.
Adults and young adults 13 years and older can buy tickets for $12. Children between the ages of 7 and 12 years of age can buy tickets for $7. Children under 6 are able to attend for free. Tickets can be bought through panhandle tickets.
CLN will be there to film and support the rodeo and Coors “Protect our West” program.
This will be our first time to attend and cover the Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo and the whole team is excited. Simply put, when Pete Coors invites you, you gotta go..
Protect Our West
Coors not only brings an amazing rodeo to the town of Amarillo, they also bring an amazing opportunity to support wildland firefighters through the βProtect Our Westβ program.
This non-profit organization was founded in 1994 after the Storm King tragedy in Colorado that took the lives of 14 firefighters.
this program supports the Wildland Firefighter Foundation which assists firefighters and the families of firefighters who were injured or killed while battling grass and forest fires throughout the region.
