Something For Everyone

For non-stop arena thrills, the Dixie National Rodeo kicks off on February 7th and runs through the 15th with a concert to follow. Fans can enjoy all their favorite PRCA rodeo events as cowgirls, cowboys, and livestock bring their best to the Mississippi State Fairgrounds. I love seeing the cowboys and cowgirls go out there and give it all they got; putting their hard work to the test. It’s always very empowering and inspirational. This event offers a diverse range of events that attract thousands of attendees from across the state and beyond. From the Dixie National Cutting Horse Competition and the Miss Dixie National Rodeo Queen Pageant to livestock shows, team ropings, horse sales, meet-and-greets, after-parties, live music, and much more. There’s something for everyone at the DNLSR.

Dixie National Livestock Show

While the Dixie National Livestock Show’s exciting events take center stage, the hard work and dedication of Mississippi’s youth are what truly make a difference. Livestock shows provide a platform for talented 4-H and FFA members to showcase their prized goats, cows, swine, and lambs. These young agricultural experts, who dedicate months and sometimes years to their livestock, are honing their skills and representing the future of American agriculture.
