JB Mauney rides his way to his fourth event win of the season in Tucson, AZ, showing the world how badly he wants another world championship buckle in 2015.

At the last regular-season event of the 2015 PBR Built Ford Tough Series Season, 2013 PBR World Champion, JB Mauney, showed everyone how hungry he is for another world title. A reride on Jeff Robinson‘s Pandora for 85.25 points had him sitting in 6th place going into Sunday’s round 2 performance, where he rode HD from Western Star/ DAM Cattle Co. for 88.0 points to win the long round. He then proceeded to put up a 90.0-point ride on Mr. Bull from Julio Moreno Bucking Bulls to win the short go and his fourth event this year.
Many have already predicted Mauney to win his second world championship buckle at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. He is currently a full 1,250 points ahead of the front-runner for the PBR Rookie of the Year title, Brazilian Kaique Pacheco. Pacheco had a great weekend as well, making the eight second whistle on every bull he got on. He claimed enough points to edge out fellow Brazilian Joao Ricardo Vieira for 2nd place in the race for the world championship.

The bulls definitely brought some extra heat to the desert town of Tucson, Arizona. Julio Moreno/3L Bucking Bulls/White Diamond Ranch’s Roy solidified his status as a world championship-contender with a 46.00 out against Stormy Wing during the Short Go. Jeremiah from Rob Smets bucked off J.W. Harris for a high score of 45.5 points.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this week’s bounty bull, Woody from Julio Moreno Bucking Bulls got Cooper Davis an extra $2,500 in his pocket, plus $2,500 was donated to breast cancer research.
