PBR Unleash the Beast: Cooper Tires Take the Money and Ride 2019

Bull Riding

PBR Unleash the Beast: Cooper Tires Take the Money and Ride 2019 is one of the main flagship events of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR). It is the last leg of a circuit that culminates leading up to the 2019 PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bull riders from all over the world over will descend upon the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, ID on October 18-19, 2019. These mighty men and women will all compete to tame nature and secure a place in the finals that are set to be held in November.

Unleash the Beast: Cooper Tires Take the Money and Ride 2019 is the new name of the event. Previously, up till 2015, it used to be part of the Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS). This was the elite series of events by PBR, which has now been taken over by Monster Energy Unleash the Beast.

As this is a PBR event, the main focal event is, of course, riding some bulls! However, these aren’t some ordinary bulls, they some of the biggest and most rank bulls in the world, including Chad Berger Bucking Bulls from the legendary stock contractor Chad Berger. PBR utilizes only the best stock of finely reared and grown animals for the event.

The breeds can provide a challenge to even the toughest cowboy out there. A typical bull riding round will have a cowboy atop a highly competitive bull. The objective is to stay atop the bucking bull for at least 8 seconds. The rider can’t use both hands and one hand must be in the air while the other grips a secured rope. A thick glove is provided for better grip and protection.

Start off with a Feast!

The proceedings of the day will commence with the Big Bull Brunch. Here, attendees will get the chance to enjoy some of Idaho’s local cuisine for a hearty brunch. Mingle and talk with PBR cowboys and CLN’s favorite, Flint Rasmussen— after all, food makes friends!

The brunch will also include a bull housing tour. The tour will take you around the bullpens and show the fine stock of animals for the event.
