The road to the Hondo Rodeo Fest is heating up, and October is bringing some of the biggest Ride to Hondo stops yet.
After kicking off across Arizona in September and making its way through events like Creek Bash Rodeo and Rancho Ochoa, the Ride to Hondo is heading into a packed October schedule. And for fans in the Chandler area, October 9, 10, and 11 are shaping up to be one big weekend of Western fun, live music, giveaways, and Hondo excitement.
The best part? You could show up for the music and atmosphere and leave with tickets to The Hondo Rodeo Fest.
That’s because every Ride to Hondo activation gives fans another opportunity to enter the Hondo ticket giveaway, with a winner selected at the event that same day. You must be present to win.
The Ride to The Hondo Hits Chandler
The October 9 to 11 stretch brings three consecutive Chandler activations, each with its own atmosphere and lineup.
Ride to the Hondo, proudly sponsored by Coors Banquet, Fever-Tree, and Barmen 1873 Bourbon, is a series of live activations at select locations across Arizona, giving fans a preview of what makes The Hondo Rodeo Fest so special.
Whether you’re looking for a Friday night out, a full Saturday of live music, or a Sunday afternoon and evening at one of Chandler’s favorite live-music spots, there is plenty of reason to join the Ride.
October 9: Bourbon Jim’s
The Ride to Hondo heads to Bourbon Jim’s in Chandler on Friday, October 9, with the activation beginning at 6 p.m. Located at 5945 W. Ray Road, Bourbon Jim’s is known as a neighborhood bar and grill with live local music, a country-and-rock atmosphere, bourbon, cold drinks, and plenty of reasons to settle in for the evening.
For Ride to Hondo fans, October 9 is another opportunity to get together with friends, enjoy the atmosphere, and enter for a chance to win Hondo Rodeo Fest tickets. Guests can dig into scratch-made kitchen favorites like their famous Churro Dog or Jim’s Sweet Balls, while sipping from over 20 craft beers on tap, top-shelf bourbons, or handcrafted cocktails. October 10: Trophy Bar
Saturday, October 10, is where the weekend really gets rolling.
The Ride to Hondo takes over The Trophy Bar in Chandler, beginning at 4 p.m., with a full afternoon and evening of live entertainment. Located in Downtown Ocotillo at 2551 West Queen Creek Road, Suite #4, The Trophy Bar combines live music, food, specialty cocktails, cold drinks, and a lively atmosphere. It’s known for sports, cars, and cold drinks. Grab a bite from their menu featuring crowd favorites like loaded Trophy Bar Nachos, fresh street tacos, and sirloin Burger Sliders topped with blue cheese spread and bourbon onions, and pair it with a signature Spicy Margarita, Key Lime Martini, or an ice-cold local draft beer.

October 11: The Stillery Chandler
The weekend wraps up Sunday, October 11, at The Stillery Chandler, where Nathan Dean & The Damn Band will take the stage from 4:30–8:30 p.m.
Located in the heart of downtown Chandler at 130 S. Arizona Avenue, The Stillery brings together Southern-inspired food, cocktails, and live music in a setting built for a good night out.
