Turquoise Circuit Finals 2024: The Best in the Southwest

Camp Verde, Arizona – Americaโ€™s southwest is no stranger to the rough and tumble cowboy ways that helped build its foundation. From rich ranching histories to high-flying rodeo games, the southwest has fostered a love for the cowboy way of life. Although the world has modernized and streets have turned from gravel to asphalt, the southwest still takes any chance to celebrate a little bit of cowboy fun. So letโ€™s head down south and see what Arizona and New Mexico have in store for us at the 2024 Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo.

An integral part of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, the Turquoise Circuit is one of many PRCA circuits that allow contestants to compete in and advance to a national championship as a branch of the multimillion-dollar PRCA tree. Composed of rodeos in Arizona and New Mexico, homegrown rodeo heroes who call the desert home participate in nearly 20 rodeos across the two states. All culminating in a final championship in Camp Verde, Arizona on November 1st and 2nd.

As a 1 of 14 PRCA circuits across the United States, the Turquoise Circuit includes all the rodeo events you know and love. Barrels, bulls, broncs, and more, the 2024 Turquoise Circuit Rodeo will send champions from each event and overall year-end winners to compete in the 2024 RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo Championship.

Taryn Cantrell is an Arizona native with a lifelong connection to the rodeo arena. From her roots in barrel racing to her role as the 2017 Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen and her involvement with the Cowgirls Historical Foundation, Taryn celebrates her western heritage with enthusiasm and authenticity. Taryn holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University, allowing her to merge her passion for music with her love of cowboy culture. As a singer and bassist, Taryn performs with bands across Phoenix and beyond including Great American Regret, Honey Marie Knight, and Sareena Dominguez. Taryn is passionate about blending her diverse interests to offer an authentic and engaging perspective on journalism. Her goal is to connect readers to the events, concerts, and celebrations that matter most, bringing them closer to the experiences she treasures.
