Warriors of the West Presented by Coors Banquet

Written by

For its sixth year, Coors Banquet is teaming up with Wildland Firefighter Foundation to “Protect Our West.” This year Coors also partnered with Uproxx to create a docuseries, “Warriors of the West” surrounding the life of Wildland Firefighters as they put their lives on the line to protect the land. The Wildland Firefighter Foundation assists firefighters and the families of firefighters injured or killed while battling grass and forest fires throughout the region.

The series launched on May 21st and will follow the lives of five wildland firefighters as they train and fight fires that endanger the lives of so many. It was important that Uproxx mentioned that,

These heroes not only fight to preserve our beautiful, natural wonders and vital resources, but they work to save our way of life as these fires seemingly grow in frequency and intensity.

You can find the first series on Youtube by following this link. This series will show a side of wildland firefighting like you have never seen before. Not only will it go in depth on the firefighters themselves, but also the families that love and support them. Take a look and see what Coors Banquet is doing for these men and women,

As part of this year’s Protect Our West campaign, Coors Banquet also is sending 2,500 thank you kits to select firehouses in certain cities that include special T-shirts, a case of Coors Banquet beer, an official coffee table book from the “Warriors of the West” docuseries and a personal note from Pete Coors.

It is obvious that authorities, firefighters, and residents are exhausted and working hard to keep the West safe. Right now, Coors Banquet is donating 25 cents to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation for every case of Coors Banquet sold in Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington, up to $250,000.

Along with the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, please help support and join the movement now by purchasing a case of Coors Banquet. For more information about the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, visit http://www.wffoundation.org/.
