Art of the Cowgirl 2025

Wickenburg, Arizona – When Tammy Pate founded Art of the Cowgirl in 2019, she envisioned a vibrant community dedicated to celebrating female ranchers, makers, artisans, horsewomen, and more whose contributions have woven the rich tapestry that is the western industry. Through her unwavering dedication to showcasing the talents and contributions of cowgirls, both past and present, Pate crafted an event of such significance that it has become one of the western industry’s most anticipated annual gatherings. Art of the Cowgirl embraces the art, culture, and camaraderie that define the cowgirl spirit as well as the grit and hard work it takes to succeed. Blending heritage with modern flair, Art of the Cowgirl is a firsthand account of the unending contributions women have made and continue to make in the western industry.

In order to encourage and assist emerging artists of the western genre, Art of the Cowgirl provides a showcase through an annual gathering that celebrates cowgirls and their artistic contributions to western lifestyle. In so doing, it raises the necessary funds to support emerging artists in expanding their knowledge and skills via fellowships with master artists in their field.
