When January arrives in Denver, many people turn their attention to the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo. Spanning 16 days, the #‎NWSS2015‬ serves as an entertainment mecca for everyone who loves rodeos, livestock and anything western.
This year’s show, which will run from January 10-25, will feature a variety of events including a Denver rodeo that offers some of the highest prize money of any rodeo in the world, the largest Western Trade Show in Colorado, Horse Shows that attract contestants from all over the United States and a Livestock Show that’s billed as the “Super Bowl” of shows everywhere.

Ticket Information

Grounds admissions tickets are the most popular choices, with most people purchasing them at the National Western box office. Pricing varies for adults and children, with pricing as follows:

  • Ages 12 and over $10-$19
  • Ages 3-11 $2-$3
  • Ages 2 and under Free

Because most people want to see numerous events during the 16 days, many choose to purchase Guest Badges for $50 that provides admission for the span of the show.

Special Events

Mexican Style BullRidingFor most who attend the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo, the Kick-Off Parade is a must-see for adults and children alike. This year’s parade is scheduled for January 8 at noon, and always features a variety of entries that make the event something to remember. Of course, what attracts many people is the variety of rodeos featured during the two weeks. Some of the most anticipated rodeos include:

  • PBR Bull Riding – Touring Pro Division Finale
  • Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza
  • National Western Pro Rodeo
  • MLK Jr. African-American Heritage Rodeo
  • Pink Rodeo

Pink Rodeo NWSSROne Denver rodeo that is expected to have very high attendance is the Pink Rodeo, which is done to honor those who have survived breast cancer as well as remember those who lost their battle. Much money is raised for breast cancer research during this Denver rodeo, with participants and attendees wearing pink to symbolize their support.

Horse Shows

Always popular with attendees, a variety of horse shows are featured such as:

  • Dancing Horses
  • Draft Horses
  • Wild West Show
  • Grand Prix

The Grand Prix, with over $40,000 in prize money available, attracts jumpers from across the country that are eager to compete against the best and come out on top.

Livestock Shows

  • Junior Market Livestock Show
  • Specialty Livestock Show

Featuring Alpacas, bison, llamas and goats the Specialty show is a real source of entertainment for everyone.

Many of the world’s best Western retailers exhibit at the National Western Stock Show. Some of the most popular merchandise on display includes:

  • Jewelry
  • Clothing
  • Agricultural equipment

With so much to do and see, it’s a sure bet the 2015 National Western Stock Show and Rodeo will be a huge hit with all who attend and participate.

Growing up as an Arizona native, with a mother who worked for Wrangler Western for over 30 years, Aaron was immersed in the cowboy culture from a young age. Aaron and his sister Heather grew up watching rodeos, as their grandfather and uncle were PRCA ProRodeo cardholders. This early exposure has given him a profound understanding and appreciation for the western way of life.

Aaron went to Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, AZ, then to the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, where he received a Bachelor of Science after creating his own major. This unique course of study wove together Business Marketing, Geography, Sociology, Philosophy, and Religion.

After graduating from the University of Arizona, Aaron joined CLN in its nascent stages, contributing to its growth and development over the past decade. As COO, Aaron manages operations, using AI to streamline processes and analyze data, ensuring CLN remains a leading voice. With expertise in business development, he innovates and cultivates client relationships, supporting CLN’s exponential growth.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Aaron values his faith, family, and friends, which are the cornerstones of his life. This personal foundation, combined with his professional expertise, makes him a trusted and authoritative voice in the western lifestyle community.

Aaron’s commitment to philanthropy is the bedrock of his personal ethos. He actively supports local Arizona organizations such as the Boys & Girls Club, Chandler Compadres, Horses Help, Harris Brothers Charity Foundation, and the American Heart Association (among others), reflecting his dedication to giving back and strengthening the community he calls home.

Through his work, Aaron aims to preserve and promote the traditions of the west, ensuring that the spirit of the cowboy lives on for future generations.
