The 4th of July means many things to many people. Independence Day has a long history of being celebrated with barbecues, good friends and fireworks. This year, the 4th of July was celebrated with the Red, White and Cool Bull Bash at Westworld in Scottsdale, Arizona.
With a packed house of kids, parents and other spectators, some of the Valley’s best bull riders attempted to make the eight-second whistle. Dirty Money Cattle CompanyΒ Β brought out their finest stock to put on a show for Independence Day.
Jay Joaquin won the event with an 83-point bull ride while Tucson native, Clint Holcomb came in second.
There were only a handful of qualified rides when the bulls bringing their A-Game and the riders not able to keep up.
Bullfighters Sean Moore and Tristen Howard did an excellent job of keeping the cowboys safe throughout the event while pick-up man Brandon Shelton made sure that all the bulls went home.
After the bull riding, spectators were treated to a spectacular fireworks display. Coupled with all of the vendors and activities that kids enjoyed throughout the day, it is safe to say that all had a wonderful Independence Day.
